Introduction
In the past month, we have been focused on making your Avoma experience faster and more efficient. Here’s the TL;DR of what we built and shipped in March:
- It is now faster and easier to find your dialer call recordings - thanks to a dedicated ‘Calls’ tab.
- Looking to dive deeper into your team’s performance trends? We have introduced new filters to help you extract performance insights that are tailored to your business context.
- No more run-of-the-mill, boilerplate calendar invites. Send custom, personalized calendar invites for your meeting invitees using event description variables!
- The Avoma-ClickUp integration just got a whole lot better: Our latest enhancement makes creating tasks from Avoma meeting notes much faster!
So let’s dive right in!
Find your dialer call recordings faster with the new ‘Calls’ tab
Your dialer calls now have their own home inside Avoma.
Until now, all events were listed under the ‘Meetings’ tab. And that meant your meetings that happen on video conferencing solutions (like Zoom, Google Meet, et al.) and your calls that happen via dialers (like RingCentral, AirCall et al.) were all clubbed together.
But what if you are a power user of dialer calls? You would have had to sift through meeting recordings to find your dialer calls, or figure out the right filters to find your dialer calls, or create your own ‘Saved view’ with the right filters for dialer calls.
Not anymore - introducing the ‘Calls’ tab, the new forever home for all your dialer calls on Avoma! You can even set the ‘Calls’ tab as your default homepage in Avoma, so you can find your calls even faster! So what’s different about the Calls tab?
- It is purpose-built for dialer calls - you will not find any meetings-related filters here
- Options under filters such as ‘Call types’ and ‘More filters’ are tailor-made for dialer calls
- Unlike the Meetings tab, the listing view here does not use thumbnails, nor will you find the ‘Past-Upcoming’ toggle
Please note: You will see the 'Calls' tab only if you have connected a dialer with Avoma. You can learn more about Avoma's dialer integrations here.
Uncover performance insights faster using new filters on coaching dashboards
Until now, the coaching dashboards within Avoma allowed you to filter by Member, Team, Scorecards, Type (i.e Manual v/s AI) among other options. While this set of filters was functional and could satisfy basic filtering requirements, we wanted to support a wider range of requirements for our users. And that’s why we have rolled out additional filters on both the Members Performance and Scorecards Performance dashboards. Let’s take a look at the new filters and the use cases enabled by them:
- To analyze the performance of your team members on specific types of meetings, you can now use the ‘Purpose’ or ‘Outcome’ filters. For example, you can create a filtered view for only those meetings where the ‘Outcome’ was ‘Qualified’
- To check how your sales team performs on demo meetings, you can use the ‘Purpose’ filter and select ‘Demo’; along with ‘Sales’ selected under ‘Team’ filter
- To check how your team members were scored on outbound calls, you can use the ‘Call type’ filter and select ‘Outbound’
- To evaluate how your SDRs perform on prospecting meetings that last longer than five minutes, you can use the ‘Scorecards’ filter -> select ‘SDR Prospecting Scorecard’ -> under ‘More filters’, set the minimum meeting duration as five (5) minutes
By using these new filters or a combination of these filters, you will be able to uncover performance trends and insights tailored specifically to suit the context of your business and your needs.
Personalize calendar invitations using Event Description Variables
Every touchpoint with a buyer or a customer is an opportunity to delight and impress. And what better way to impress than use personalization? Typically, when someone books a meeting using your Scheduler link, it creates an event on their calendar. Your meeting invitees will see a calendar event that has a boilerplate meeting title, description, etc.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could send calendar invitations with a more personal touch to them? To enable just that, we rolled out support for Event Description Variables. When you create a new scheduling page, the ‘Event title’ and ‘Event description’ fields will have boilerplate values.
By adding event description variables, you can personalize the calendar invitation that is sent to invitees who book a meeting through your Scheduler page. For example, you can set up the event description to have a personalized pre-meeting introduction. Nothing like creating a great first impression! And to make sure everything is in order, you can get a preview and check how the calendar invite will look like for your meeting invitees or participants.
On your Scheduler page settings, you can edit both event title and event description by adding and/or removing variables. Event description variables like ‘Meeting Date’, ‘Meeting time’, ‘Meeting duration’, ‘Contact name’, etc. will dynamically receive values from the information submitted on the Scheduler form when someone books a meeting with you.
Automatically apply your task preferences when creating ClickUp tasks from Meeting notes
Avoma’s AI-generated notes accurately capture the action items, next steps, et al. discussed in a meeting, so you never drop the ball when following up with a buyer or customer. With the Avoma-ClickUp integration, you can take things a step further by automating your post-meeting task workflows: Simply highlight a line of text from your meeting notes, and add a task to your ClickUp board. You can create and assign tasks to people from across teams in your organization, and collaborate effortlessly to keep the ball rolling.
Now, we have simplified your task automation with ClickUp even further. When you create a ClickUp task from Avoma Meeting notes, you are asked to fill in all the task details or ‘preferences’ - Title, Workspace, List, Assignee, etc. And typically you might need to create multiple ClickUp tasks from the same meeting. So the grunt work of repetitively filling in task preferences every time you create a new task can quickly add up and become an additional drain on your time.
With our latest enhancement, you can now reuse the task preferences for any subsequent tasks you create from notes of the same meeting!
After creating your first ClickUp task from the notes of an Avoma meeting, whenever you highlight any text from the meeting notes, you will see two options popping up -
‘Create ClickUp task from scratch’: You will have to manually fill in all the task preferences; or,
‘Create ClickUp task from last saved preferences’: Avoma will auto-fill the task preferences you used when creating your first ClickUp task.
And that’s not all:
- When creating a ClickUp task either from scratch or from ‘last saved preferences’, you can now apply ClickUp task templates saved in your ClickUp workspace
- The line of text selected when creating the ClickUp task will be highlighted in purple, and will be hyperlinked to the respective task on the ClickUp board
NOTE: ‘Last saved preferences’ will be available only when you are creating tasks from notes of the same meeting.
